Lemuel K. Hirtle. The funeral of Lemuel K. Hirtle, 84, of 264 Farrington Street, Wollaston, who died Saturday in the Quincy Hospital was held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock fromthe Russell Funeral Home, 641 Hancock Street, Wollaston. Rev. Horace Tatum, minister of the First Baptist Church, officiated, and burial was in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.

Mr. Hirtle, who had been employed as a shipper in the Tubular Rivet and Stud Company for 50 years, was born in Nova Scotia. He had been a resident of Wollaston for 60 years.

He was the husband of the late Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth (Esau) Hirtle, and leave three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Stacey of Somerville, Mrs. Gladys Deacon of Quincy, and Mrs. Marjorie Gallant of Braintree; three sons, George A. Hirtle of Weymouth, Lemuel A. Hirtle of Dorchester, and Walter Hirtle of Wollaston, 11 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
