Notes for Charles Irvin (Bubby) MISENER


The Pictou Advocate, Wednesday, February 10, 1988. Charles Irvin Misener, 83, of Liscombe, Guysborough County, N.S., died Friday February 05, 1988 at St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in West Liscombe, he was a son of the late Andrew and Zoe (Pace) Misener. He was a lighthouse keeper at Liscombe Island Lighthouse for 35 years, before retiring. He was a member of St. John's United Church, Liscombe. He is survived by a son; a daughter; two brothers, Andy, MacLennan's Brook, Pictou County; Aubrey, New Glasgow; a sister; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son; a daughter; two grandchildren; a brother; three sisters. Funeral was Monday, Feb. 8 at St. John's United Church, Liscomb, Deacon David Clevland officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Foundations or any charity.
